How to Make Poop Emoji Cupcakes

These poop emoji cupcakes are a funny way to celebrate a special occasion. They are simple to make and are a huge hit for birthdays. With a rich chocolate frosting they’re not only funny, they’re delicious too!

Having just shared my toilet paper cake tutorial with you I thought it would be good to share this poop emoji cupcake tutorial as well. The toilet paper roll cake and emoji cupcakes go really well together for a funny birthday theme. I get request all the time for the two and since the Covid craze I’ve received even more. Together they do make a hilarious birthday theme and these days we need all the chances to laugh that we can get! The cupcakes are pretty easy to make. I use my rich chocolate buttercream for the frosting, so they are delicious too. Who knew poop cupcakes could taste so good! 😉

What you’ll need.

Your favorite flavored cupcakes
Chocolate buttercream
Wilton 1A round piping tip
Piping bag
Wilton candy eyes
White fondant- store bought or you can make your own with this easy recipe.
Fondant cutter or knife

Step 1

After you’ve baked your cupcakes and let them cool completely, pipe swirls onto your cupcakes. To pipe swirls, start in the middle of the cupcake and pipe frosting outward and back towards the middle in a big swirl motion like in the picture below.

Step 2

Next, you’ll take your pre-made eyes and gently place them onto your cupcakes.

Step 3

Roll out your white fondant to about an 1/8″ thick. Using your round 1A piping tip cut circles out in white fondant and then cut the circles in half.

Step 4

Add a small amount of water on the back of each half circle and lightly press on your buttercream for the emoji’s mouth.

And that’s it! You have poop emoji cupcakes!
